A Values led Curriculum

Our teaching and learning is led and promoted through our core values of Respect, Honesty, Kindness, Generosity, Perseverance, Politeness and Resilience. Through teaching these values we aim to develop co-operation, teamwork and a positive attitude towards work and learning. We aim to embed these values in all that we do, both in and out of school life. By teaching these alongside being respectful and tolerant of others faiths and beliefs, we can help all children to contribute positively and help to prepare them for the future.

An Experiences led Curriculum

We aim to offer the children a rich curriculum, including experiences which they will remember for years to come. Our topics our enriched with memorable learning experiences and school visits which give children the opportunity to challenge themselves and deepen their understanding of the world.

A Careers led Curriculum

At Audley we have created a New Curriculum which encourages the children to think about their aspirations for the future, beyond their school lives. Throughout their time at school the children will have opportunities to explore the world of work through their topics – through visits to work places, visiting speakers and annual Career weeks. Through these we aim to motivate the children towards their end goals for their futures.

A Problem Solving Curriculum

Through engaging and challenging classroom activities, children are asked to reason about and explore their ideas to deepen their understanding of topics through questioning, discussions and different working tasks.

Our curriculum is developing and changing regularly as new topics and themes are created in-line with Birmingham’s Curriculum Statement.
